power class
Guided by the Prof. Shri Jayeshji Khona, the Shashan Power Class is a dynamic program combining both virtual and in-person classes. This class is designed to deepen students' understanding of Jain scriptures, with a particular focus on the Kalpa Sutra. Alongside scripture learning, public speaking skills are honed, with lessons incorporating both modern and contextual examples that make the teachings relevant to today’s world.
Students will receive a comprehensive education, enhancing not only their spiritual knowledge but also their ability to communicate effectively. At the end of the program, participants will undergo a rigorous assessment to evaluate their learning, confidence in speaking, conduct, and overall standing.
COAT
The Continuous Oral Assessment Test (COAT) is designed to assess students' mastery over key Jain rituals, ensuring they have perfected the Sutra and Vidhi to the level where they can confidently lead essential Shravak Kriyas, such as Pratikraman, Paushadh, Pachkhan, Guru Vandan, and Chaitya Vandan.
Students can book their test appointments once they feel prepared. After confirmation, they will attend the scheduled assessment, where they will orally recite the Sutra and demonstrate the Vidhi in front of an examiner.
This hands-on assessment not only fosters effective learning of kriyas but also reinforces their spiritual understanding and cultivates their leadership skills in Jain rituals.
